Boeing Worker This worker is directing a "body join," which is the moment when one-half of a 757 fuselage is attached to the other. This is a very precise operation--and a very slow one. Any mistake would be incredibly costly. But these guys are pros and they have done this many times. In this case it happened at about 3 AM at the Boeing plant in Renton, Washington. At the end of the shift, one of the workers played a beautiful "Taps" on the trumpet he keeps in his tool chest.
