Woman Rock Climber Shooting rock climbing is not usually a lighting problem. This one was. From where the camera is located, there is no light. Accordingly, all that rock above is dark. The climber reads only as a silhouette. To expose only for the camera-side of the climber would lose the scenery. I liked this location so much I decided it was worth the effort of hauling lighting equipment to a cave in a cliff in the desert. This climb is beyond the ability of most climbers, but Kanisha did it well. It was hot and dirty and we had to lower the equipment down a cliff with ropes--and then haul it back up again. But I think you'll agree it was worth it.
